清明前夕，艳阳高照。全家人一起去扫墓。这是我第一次上坟祭祖。

家里的祖坟修在乡下老家那边，中午时分，奶奶爷爷准备好了祭祀用的物品，一家人就去乡下了。来到了坟地，只见那边周围都是田，金黄的油菜花、粉白的蚕豆花、还有绿油油的小麦，长势正旺，生机勃勃。一到坟前面，爷爷奶奶立刻变得庄重起来，他们和爸爸一起在柳枝上扎上纸花、挂上飘带。爷爷则挖了两块土，双手捧着，恭恭敬敬地放在坟顶上。我问妈妈这是为什么，妈妈说，这是在“修坟”，给坟添砖加瓦，传说坟越高，谁家的子孙后代就会越兴旺。

The family's ancestral graves were built in the countryside. At noon, grandma and grandpa prepared the sacrificial articles, and the family went to the countryside. Grandpa dug two pieces of soil and put them on the top of the grave respectfully. I asked my mother why. My mother said that it was "building graves". It is said that the higher the graves are, the more prosperous their descendants will be.
